• Is there a flash gallery plugin which will integrate with NextGen Gallery (like flashviewer) but will display full screen (like Picasna) and will allow to be linked from an image link and not text. Three weeks trying to tweak different plugins but with no result.

    1. I cannot force flashviewer to load from an image link.
    2. I cannot make thickbox display the content full screen
    3. I am looking for some other plugins but they all seem to lack these features.

Integration with NextGen is a must because it lets me sort the photos by just dragging them. Adding photos is very easy, which is crucial because my wife helps me with my photo website, and she is not an FTP specialist 🙂

Full screen display is nowadays more needed than ever. Screens have become cheap, and there is a big variety of computers. Some use netbooks with 1280×700 screens and a lot of people use 24″ screens with 1920x1200px. If I make my thickbox small enough to fit small screens (like a 800×600 thickbox) it looks ridiculous on bigger screens. But if I make a 1200x900px thickbox, then users of small screens won’t be even able to close it (the screen edges won’t be clickable and the ‘X’ sign will be also off the screen). What can I do then? I want to present my art in the best way possible and not some flimsy 600×400 photos. Picasna.com makes sense to me but it is difficult to use. Instead of using server-located files it forces me to install picasa and upload images to picasa servers: not the best idea.

Yes, I know that my description is long, but I would really like to prove that I have a true problem and I would like to attract some attention. I am currently trying to tweak the FlashViewer plugin with autoviewer.swf but I can’t make it go full-browser-screen (to resize downwards for small screens) and I can’t make images link to the gallery.

I would really appreciate any help and comments. Maybe there is a solution or maybe a specialist can make some tweaks and give the wordpress community another great plugin.
