   I have a host
   I have an FTP client

   But. . .

   Guess ya gotta be a web guru to understand the gibberish that follows in order to put an active wordpress based blog on your site.

   I'm giving it up for now. Too frustrated to proceed.

   Many hosts offer a one-click install process if that helps.
