• I’m confused, so this query may be confusing, but here goes:

I’ve inherited management of a WordPress blog site. Here’s the link:
    http://resourcesforleadership.com/

I’m trying to sort out the links and the content on the pages to which they lead. Here’s what I find:

When I go to ‘pages’ in the admin area and click the page titled News, I find some content in the editing area. But when I click the News link in the nav bar on the home page, I’m taken to a blog post. None of the links on the home page take me to the content I find on the News page when I access it through the admin area.

    Any idea what’s going on?

    Thanks.

  • It looks like the News page uses a custom template. Examining the custom template file might indicate where the content is coming from – possibly a post in the News category?

Thanks esmi, I figured this out: the site was set to put blog posts on the News page, which apparently overrides any other content you try to put there. I created a separate blog page, set that to receive posts and presto, the news content appears on the News page, blog content appears on the Blog page.

    Thanks again!
