   This isn't strictly a Wordpress question, but I am running a Wordpress blog and I want to use a paFileDB-type download script for stuff like spreadsheets etc. However paFileDB requires me to use CHMOD 777 on directories, which I know is not a good idea, so does anyone know of a similar script that doesn't require 777?

   Sorry, question is now irrelevant because I've discovered it works fine without the CHMOD-ing
