   Hi,

   I have a wordpress installation on my blog for several years now. Now, I want to relaunch my blog with a new design, new functionality etc. And as it's relaunched, I want the archive to be split.

   The site has to behave like a new fresh wordpress installation, with the new posts in different categories neatly archived with a nice archive page.
   The old posts however, need to stay accessible via their permalinks and via a separate archive page called "view old posts" or something like that. The old posts only use one category (uncategorized)

   What would be the best way to do this? Are there plugins that could do this, maybe with some modifications?
