   I' trying to figure out how I can get users to register on my blog. How can I provide a "register/login" link so users can register to the blog and login. I also want to point out that I want this to be totally optional to the user, so they can have the option not to register, but still be able to comment.

   Use the Meta Widget to display a register link.

   Check the "Anyone can register box" via Administration > Settings > General.

   Uncheck the "Users must be registered and logged in to comment box" via Administration > Settings > Discussion.
