There is a problem with the Insert/Edit Link button in version 2.8.4 and 2.8.5. It is inserting garbage. All looks OK when you insert the link. But when you look at the html code produced, it has a lot of extra characters. And when you try to open the link, you get a 404 page for your own blog.
ARE YOU GUYS FIXING THIS????????????
theres absolutely nothing wrong with that button. perhaps you need to to a little more troubleshooting and a little less yelling.
I suggest looking at the demo, it works properly.

if yours doesnt work like that, then you will need to enlighten us as to what youve done to narrow down the cause.
