I've designed and coded a complete site using HTML, Flash & CSS and would like to use wordpress to run the e-commerce & blog portion of my site. What is the best way to integrate this? I've downloaded wordpress to my server, http://www.domainname.com in the main directory.
My preference would be to continue to edit the HTML & CSS outside of wordpress, is this possible?
Where do I go from here.
thanks

it appears this is not possible due to all the php. coding however I believe its possible to copy paste my code into the pre-existing files. I don't understand php... how will my new code (uses different div tags etc.) effect the existing php?

another question...
how do I make different pages look structurally different? I can make changes to the css and html but I all the pages are pre-determined structurally. If I change the footer for example, it changes the footer on every page. Can I have different footers on different pages? if so how?

You should watch this videocast to see how easy it is to convert a static html/css site to wordpress:

It's not very easy unless you have some idea atleast about the tags. Take a look at the Template Tags http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags
