Adsense not reading on WordPress home page

Adsense is supposed to take the content of your page and correlate the ads to that content. That makes sense and it is working fine here: Why Drawing a Dog is Badass…

However, my homepage is a different story. It does not read the content apparently. Is it looking for the metadata?

It is obviously seeing that this is a WordPress blog. I’ve added to my Home Page Meta already to try and see if it is reading this with no luck
