   Hi Alex

   I just upgraded to 1.4 and now I'm getting 404s for my albums and galleries - some sample pages:

   - http://windows7news.com/windows-7-screenshots/
   - http://windows7news.com/windows-7-theme/

   can you please tell me how to fix or how to roll back - my sites are my livlihood and these pages drive a significant amount of traffic.

   turning off permalinks temporarily fixes the problem, but how do I fix so that I don't lose SERPs and backlinks?

   I will review the permalink structure, but couldn't see any mistake at my test page. Hard to catch this here

   yeah, something is fishy with the permalink rewriting. I changed image titles, and now permalinks don't work. Have to disable permalink support in Nextgen in order for links thumbnail links to work.

   So you only refresh the permalink structure and then all work again ?

   I am new to the WP environment, but I did what I said I did, switched PL off, saved the settings and then switched them back on again with a custom structure of /%category%/%postname% and all works.

   There is another issue... where has the option to build new galleries and albums gone? I now have no way of adding, deleting or managing the existing galleries.

   I was about to delete the Plugin, I did deactivate and wondered if it would reappear if I Activated again. Sorted, it did!! I guess we all started at the beginning!!!

   I was having the same problem and fixed it by changing the short code id from the gallery name, to the gallery id number.

    The same trouble for me. Does this do the wotk, I mean the sentence as list:
