   Hello,

   I'm totally new to hosting websites and codes.

   I build my own Wordpress website http://speakerheadz.com and I'm am very proud of it.
   I have come to the point where I want to change some code in my theme, to show Google adsense. But since I don't know any programming, I am so affraid to ruin my website. It is just starting to get a couple of hundred visitors a day, so I can't take the site down.

   Is there a way t savely change the codes? And have a proview? And if it doesn't work, to change it back?

   Also the admin says I can't change the lay out files and I hae to look in The Codex for help. Can someone help me with that?

   First, learn how to backup your site files and your database. That way if you change something you can always resort to a good backup if you need to restore something. Read and follow WordPress Backups.

   Then you want to learn a little about Template Hierarchy to understand what templates of your theme WordPress uses to render your site to visitors.

   Then look at User:Tomhanna/Adding_Ads_to_Wordpress for ideas on showing ads on your site.
