   Hi there

   I have one website out of many that stubbornly will not allow me to upgrade beyond version 2.5. I ftp the files and then do the database upgrade and then get this:

   WordPress database error: [Table 'dbname.wp_categories' doesn't exist]
   SELECT * FROM wp_categories ORDER BY cat_ID

   WordPress database error: [Table 'dbname.wp_post2cat' doesn't exist]
   SELECT post_id, category_id FROM wp_post2cat GROUP BY post_id, category_id

   WordPress database error: [Table 'dbname.wp_linkcategories' doesn't exist]
   SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM wp_linkcategories

   ...

   I confirm that I want to do the upgrade and then am faced with a website with no pages - only posts. As the site is based on pages it's useless. I've been trying since 2.6 to upgrade the site but with no joy. The fun has gone on for too long.

   Any gurus out there with ideas?
