    Hi there,
    after an autoupdate to 2.8.4., instead of user comments there are only warnings.. such like:
    `Warning: call_user_func(bfa_comments) [function.call-user-func]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /www/htdocs/w009d8de/wp-includes/comment-template.php on line 1242

    Deactivate all plugins, change your theme to the default theme, and run the upgrade again. If you upgraded from a fairly old version of WordPress, then you should upgrade in steps. eg. 2.6.5 -> 2.7 -> 2.8 -> etc.

    deactivate the athualpa theme by activating default theme
    test site
    reactivate athualpa

    thank you very much!

    @samboll
    unfortunately don`t work that way :-(
    tried it often

    @bh_WP_fan
    deactivated all my plugins. Upgrade(tool) only shows one possible update: up to 2.8.5 and this don`t work :(
    do you know how to run the upgrade again? (manually??)

    fairly old? I really don`t know which version it was.
    :( - We started this blog on -july 2008-

    My 'old' theme still works fine :(

    history what i did:
    -first I installed athualpa, changed a lot....(brilliant theme)
    -than I made an AUTO-upgrade (which run fine).

    bfa_comments seems to be an additional athualpa comment "tool"
    I tried both (sidebar) comments and bfa_comments. both don`t work

    thanks in advance
    Martin

    done!!! it works.

    four steps:
    - set default plugin
    - deactivate all plugins
    - rename folder atahualpa (f.e. ori_atahualpa )
    - copy atahualpa again into theme folder

    thank you!
