   I'm actually using 2.8.5, but there was no option.

   Anyways, for the most part, half of my posts have way too many tags. For now, I'd like to get rid of the tags when people visit the homepage of my blog @ If you look @ the tags, you'll see exactly what I mean. However, this site which even has the same theme has NONE on the homepage! How? I emailed them, but they haven't responded to me in some time :( I tried looking @ the settings and a couple other forums, but it seemed people had more problems with them not showing up...which is the opposite in this case.

   If someone could please help me, I'd definitely appreciate it.

   well...in index.php, do you have anything referencing <?php the_tags(); ?>.

   delete that and your tags will go away
