I go to install wordpress through fantastico on justhost server. I am moving my URL from godaddy.

There is a blank "Install in Directory" dialogue box, next to it it says "Leave empty to install in the root directory of the domain (access example: http://domain/).
Enter only the directory name to install in a directory (for http://domain/name/ enter name only). This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!"

I go to submit and I get this.

It says "- You chose to install in the main directory of the domain XXXXXXX@XXX, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain xxxxxxxx.com (path="/home/painesp1/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
    index.php

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors"

FYI I just sent justhost my EEP key to switch the url today they said it could take up to 7 days. Is that whats causing my issue?

no, it is the already existent index.php file in /public_html
fantastico will not install if an index file of any kind exists
what is this index.php for? If host's default file you can delete it and it will work - or rename it to something else
