   before downloading wordpress I was hoping I could get some user feedback...

   1. can use wordpress to design and develop a complete corporate website complete with a blog page? is this the best way to integrate a blog into a site complete with a friendly editing back end.

   2. can I add a database to the site for e-commerce?

   - Do I need to know PHP or MYSQL to use those plug-ins or are they turn key?
   - Is there an additional cost to use these plug-ins?

   1. No but you might want to learn some basic PHP for later on...
   2. Not plugins in the extend/plugins repository
