    Dear all,
I'd very much appreciate some help. I have no idea what I did to make this happen, all I did since the last time I loaded the blog was press the back button in safari (was in wp-admin nextgen gallery pages, and change a directory name in filezilla and now when I try to access my site, I get this:

Warning: main(/home/content/b/l/u/bluebookba/html/blog/wp-includes/compat.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/b/l/u/bluebookba/html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 246

Warning: main(/home/content/b/l/u/bluebookba/html/blog/wp-includes/compat.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/b/l/u/bluebookba/html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 246

I don't understand where the address /b/l/u etc comes from, the theme is located at http://www.bluebookba.com/blog/wp-content/themes/gridline_magazine/

Please help as I can't access anything including wp-admin!

Is this an error in nextgen or have I screwed up somewhere?

    Many thanks in advance

    /b/l/u/bluebookba/

Most likely a directory structure provided by your host. Probably not a concern, or anything you would have control over. The important stuff is from /html/blog - forward. The fact that you state you changed a directory name (but don't mention what directory)using an ftp client, is concerning. Logical conclusion and first diagnostic step: Change it back and see what happens.Your domain still works okay. Just not the blog. The message is pretty straight forward. I believe the message states that WordPress either can not locate, or you are missing, the file /wp-includes/compat.php.

You are amazing! I found that I had accidentally renamed something else (wp-includes) and changed that (and the original gallery folder that I had also changed) back to the original and voila!
    Thanks so much
