   I'm trying to put a image by each category inn the page with my category list but wp_list_categories doesn't do that and if i tried to put that code in a table, it doesnt separate each title is there another way to make a category list besides wp list category that would fit my needs?

   anyone? I'm trying to make a more detailed list with the category image thumbs beside the category link for each category.

   Have you tried using the CSS associated with the 'li' or 'li.cat-item' elements?

   that doesn't work since i can't/don't know how to seem to seperate each category individually so i can place them in a table...
   and i know it can be done because i saw a wordpress site doing it
