[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Moving navigation.

I’m using 2.8.5 worpress and have this plugin on Shadow. (The other settings don’t seem to work for me so I stick with Shadow.)
It is an awesome piece of work and I am very happy with it.
The only thing that bugs me a little is that, when clicking a thumbnail, the picture opens and pushes the navigation arrows off screen.
Is there a way of having the navigation on the picture instead?
I’ve seen sites that have it so that if you click the right hand side of the picture you cycle forward or beackwards if you click the left side.
Some have arrows show up when you hover on the left or right hand side, some have nothing.

If not is there someway of resizing the picture so that the arros show onscreen without having to scroll downward to see them?

This isn’t a whinge as I think this program rocks.
Just something that I would have liked to use and, if I had the skill, would have changed myself.
