   Sorry but I am a total amateur at this.

   In plain English can someone please tell me how to highlight a new post on the blog. I looked it up in Help but could not understand it. Help??

   Hmm. I don't think it's easy, since unless you're logged in, WP is set up with the cookie system to mark comments as read/unread like on a forum. I'm assuming, BTW, that's what you mean.

   You can list comments in the side bar, and have newest on top, if that would suffice. It depends on what kind of highlighting we're talking about. Can you give an example?
