To Whom It May Concern:
I am the WEBMASTER of the co-hosted (WP and GoDaddy) site onetosix.org. As of today, evidently, I have an "invalid username." Interesting on several counts since:
- I AM the webmaster and neither my account nor my username can be deleted, as I understand it.
- My username was accepted HERE yet my password was not...
- On a (perhaps) related note, I couldn't get into the WordPress.com predecessor to the site last night, though I could earlier in the day, and also was able to access a blog on the same account (though not particularly easily - I believe I had to reset the password).
- I seem to be able to get into my personal (hosted) blog's dashboard, Le monde de fromage de Kate. Yes, it's a different username.
I do not know what to make of this, I am not truly worthy to be "webmaster," but when you know more than the others in the group, there you are.
Please assist me,
Kate Bartholomew
Unqualified Webmaster of One to six
Author of Le monde de fromage de Kate

Ah, how nice. I thought this was an actual support request form. Very ignorant of me. I have now supplied lots of personal information to a FORUM. Great.

Okay, so at least I edited out some of the personal information. I'm really trucking along here.
Your login at these forums is separate than login at Godaddy, which is separate from the login at your self-hosted blog. Your username "kxbcheese" cannot be changed. If you want another username, then logout and Register with a new name and don't use "kxbcheese" any longer.
Your login at wordpress.COM is also different thing, and if you can't login there, visit their support at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

I know and understand all of what you are saying about the separate log-ins and such.
My apologies, I was actually locked out and THEN asked not to be a part of the project. That's why it was so baffling. I was locked out of one blog wordpress.org) AND the predecessor (wordpress.com). This solves any confusion on my part. I'm sorry to have posted anything here, but I had no idea. And good luck to THEM, because if I am relatively unqualified... HA!

Can we just pretend I never said anything at all?
