• I can’t seem to get the PHPBB Single Sign On plugin to work correctly. I got it installed, and it took me a few minutes to get it to install all the files into the right places, but I got it installed. But after that, the login links no longer worked. I deleted the plugin and the forums, and re-installed them. I am using WP version 2.8.4 with the plugin, and I downloaded the version of PHPBB that the plugin’s website said to download, but I cant get it to function correctly. Is there any configuring that I need to do first? Here is a link to the plugin page:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/phpbb-single-sign-on/

In the description, it says this:

It’s important that the WordPress logins match the username_clean of the PHPBB users. username_clean doesn’t contain any uppercase characters, nor special ones. Check directly in the DB if in doubt.

What does this mean, and how do I do this kind of thing?

Also, it says they need to be on the same database, they are both running on the same database. Do they both have to use the same database prefix for it to work as well? Right now, the prefixes are wp_ and phpbb_ Do those both need to be wp_ for it to work correctly?

I re-installed everything on my site, and the same thing happened again, the login and logout links do not work on either the forums or in wordpress. Am I doing something wrong?

I’ve just done the same.. Fresh installs of WP and PHPBB3.
The one problem I did notice was there was no choice of using Op as the authentication method!

I was able to get the plugin to work using phpbb3 (3.06) and WordPress (2.91), for users that already exist.

I couldn’t seem to get new user registration to work though. I get the following error accompanied by a white screen, after I enter the captcha and submit the registration:

“Call to undefined function op_userExists()…in […]/forum/includes/auth/auth_op.php on line 289, referer: […]/forum/ucp.php?mode=register”

I was wondering if anybody had any progress in new user registrations…
