   Hi
   How do I get a link to go to another site instead of going to the post page? In other words I have my main post on the home page and instead of clicking on the "read more" part and it going to the detail page I want it to go to another external link.

   Make a 'fake' read more link in the post on the home page?

   Like a link.

   Example:

   Hello, welcome to my site, aren't I super cool? Thank you for coming!
   
   <a href="http://link.to/elsewhere">Read More</a>

   Thanks but this doesn't show up as a link on the home page, only when I view the full post does it show as a link. I need the link to show in the snippet part of the post on the home page
