   I've been trying to create custome pages all day, but after I publish them and try to preview them they call come up with this message,

   Not Found

   The requested URL /pagename/ was not found on this server.

   Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

   I don't understand. What's the problem?

   See if updating your permalinks via Administration > Settings > Permalinks solves the problem.

   Ok, now the links are viewable as /?page_id=8
   If I change it back to custom they don't work again. So that doesn't help.

   Make sure your host supports mod_rewrite.

   Then delete (or rename) your .htaccess file and try updating your permalinks again.

   Got it. The links work now! It was the lack of a .htaccess file that kept it from working. Thanks for your help! :)
