   Actually I am using the latest version 2.8.5

   Can someone please help me with my theme problem...

   I purchased 'hostile fruit' theme from Theme forest
   I have downloaded it to my computer
   I have tried to upload via wordpress theme upload .zip file but that failed
   I extracted the file and then uploaded to my server via FTP, into the themes folder but when I run wordpress admin, it won't see the theme.

   What do I also need to do to get wordpress to recognise that I have uploaded my new theme to this folder?

   Any advice and help will be really appreaciated

   An URL would help. But what is in your wp-content/themes folder? Maybe you've uploaded an extra directory or something like that.
