   Is the a way to get your latest tweets in the wo sidebar without using widgets?

   Sure, something like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-tools/ does that...just add this to your sidebar.php:
   

   <?php aktt_sidebar_tweets(); ?>

   When using this, instead of the sidebar widget, it doesn't seem to suppress replies, even when the option for this is selected.

   Is this a known issue, or is it how it's meant to work? In which case, is there a way around it?
