   Hi.

   I don't know if it's upgrade related or not but now I can't add tags to the posts.

   If its a new tag then it appears, if the tag is already in use, it doesn't appear.

   Try the usual troubleshooting steps: disable all of your plugins and try to reproduce the problem.

   If the tags work, then re-enable each plugin one at a time until the tage break again. When that happens, that'll be the plugin that is interfering with your tags.

   Hi jdembowski,

   I forgot to mention that I already tried the troubleshooting steps.
   I disabled all the plugins, and even switched to a different theme.

   I still can't add tags to the posts.

   Last thing to try (if you have not already) backup your files and database, install http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-dbmanager/, and run a repair on your database.

   It's a WAG on my part but your options table and/or database might be the issue.

   Also put on a fresh copy of WordPress 2.8.5 in case it's a messed up file giving you issues.
