I must first admit I'm quite new to working with Wordpress themes.
I recently resurrected the Egecia theme from my hard drive, to see what I could do with it, and although everything seems to work fine, I notice that even though I have "categories" and "archive" in my sidebar, the links don't work.
For instance, when I scroll down to the archive, I click on December 2008, but instead of bringing up posts from that month I just get directed to the most recent post. When I click on a category, like "technology", it doesn't filter out the technology posts, I just get directed to the most recent post.
If you'd like to see what I mean, you can embarrass me by looking at my blog: http://www.lovelykatherine.davelarkan.com/blog/
Now, I've looked through these forums, and I wonder if I have a php file missing? It's been so long since I used the Egecia theme, I can't remember what should be there but, looking at other themes, I'm getting suspicious.
The list of files I have are:
comments.php, footer.php, functions.php, header.php, index.php, page.php, screenshot.php, sidebar.php, single.php, style.css
I've seen people referring to a categories.php and archive.php. Are these the culprits? And if so, how on earth can I get them back?
Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
