   Hello! I'm new to WP and have poured over several tutorials and articles explaining comments. But I have not been able to find what I'm looking for.

   I am using the newest stable version 2.8.5

   Right now my comments look like this:
   http://fauxism.org/?p=1#comments

   How do I make it so that comments look like this:
   http://fauxism.org/index2.php?subaction=showcomments&id=1256093100&archive=&start_from=&ucat=1,2&

   To make the change you want you will firstly have to turn off the threaded comments. This you do in Settings, Discussion. After this you need to style the comments in your stylesheet. Most of these changes will have to be made to the commentlist element.

   I understand how to stylize the CSS elements. However, I'm trying to rearrange the placement of comment tags such as author, date, comment text, etc. Where can I edit these?

   This depends entirely on your theme.
