   When I use Auto-hyperlink URLs plugin http://coffee2code.com/wp-plugins/auto-hyperlink-urls/ I find that the urls in the shortcode get hyperlinked and so break the embed code.

   Is there any way to get around this, apart from removing the link part in the shortcode eg putting in -6006084025483872237 instead of http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6006084025483872237 ?

   Well I've just discovered Autolink URI Plugin http://www.semiologic.com/software/autolink-uri/ which does the job and doesn't conflict with shortcodes.

   Those plugins just need to run at a higher filter number (i.e. 12 or greater) which is after when shortcodes run.
