   I have spent all day trawling the web and this forum and even though this question has been asked and 'resolved', the solutions don't seem to work.

   I tried to reset my password, clicked the email confirmation, but never received the email with the new password.

   This is for http://robynhiggins.com by the way.

   Now I cannot login as admin.

   I have tried all other fixes on this forum...please help!

   Oh - and: I am unable to figure out PHPmyadmin.

   Tried requesting a new password (for the 10th time) this morning and........it came via email.

   The only thing I had done differently was to upgrade to 2.8.4 via ftp-ing the upgrade to over-write the old files.
