   Hi WP fans,
   could use a hand here if possible :-)

   Did the update from 2.6 to 2.8.4 and that worked pretty well - I think ;-) At least everything is online again.
   Issue here is, that I updated some PlugIns, but still the old version is shown in the WP-Admin. I did upload and check via FTP of new PlugIn version, but still old version shown. So something is wrong in the installation, right?

   What could be the issue here?

   Maybe I got the right wrong, or a file not updated or ...

   Try logging out and back in, once or twice. Sometimes it takes that for the plugin update checker to refresh. And sometimes a plugins updater doesn't work right, either.

   changed browser and others

   other ideas?
