Would like to install a stats plugin – but….

    Hello people.

    I checked the plugin compatibility page as directed, but I can’t find information on whether WordPress.com Stats works well with the latest version of wordpress (2.8.5)

    When I wanted to install WordPress.com Stats and then when I thought I’d try Google Integration Toolkit I got warnings that they hadn’t been tested with 2.8.5. And from reading the forum, I get the impression that GIT can get up to strange tricks, anyway.

    Does anyone know whether it’s safe to install WpS or GIT on version 2.8.5?
