There are no controls just the bare bones of the blog. Have I done something wrong.
it is a custom installation on windows 2003 Server with IIS6

Wow no replies to what could be such a simple problem. If this is the community on Wordpress then I think I need to go for another blog engine. This is my first venture into the realm of PHP, i normally use ASP.NET and must say the community gets back alot quicker than this.

now do you want help or to rip wordpress volunteer support?
the solution for your problem is to fix both of your blog url's to be correct with one of these methods

Many appologise for my insulant comments. I was just frustrated that I had followed the instructions down to a tee, and it just did not work and I could not find any help about the problem. I thought I could not be the only one who has ever had this problem.
That has worked so thankyou and I am sorry for my comments, it was stupid of me.
