   Hey,

   I'm having some trouble with page permalinks. That is, when I set up the permalinks for pages to custom (example www.websiteurl.com/about) my desired URL will appear as the page permalink (in the editor). However when I put that link into any browser, I get a 404. I also get the same error when I click "View Page" from the page editor. And yes, I have saved the pages.

   Any help?

   What kind of server are you on? Apache? IIS? Other? When you set the permalinks you should get a message (toward the bottom of the page) about needing to edit/create an .htaccess file in the case of Apache or a web.config file in the case of IIS7. Did you follow those instructions?
