   Hi.

   I'm running Feedburner via the Feedsmith plugin and it works fine, but I now have no original feed from my site and get a 404 error.

   This is a problem because:

   1. One friend tried to subscribe via the Firefox rss icon and it failed; and,

   2. I want to subscribe to a blog aggregator service that requests a full feed. It’s suggestion was to leave my Feedburner feed as is and subscribe to the service via my original feed set to full feed.

   So, these are my questions:

   1. Can my original WP feed be recovered/used and if so, how?
   2. If it can be recovered, how do I change settings to affect a full or partial feed?

   Did you try disabling the plugin? Make sure any redirects for /feed/ are removed.

   Try re-generating permalinks or disabling them to see if that corrects it.

   Where would I find redirects for /feed/?

   Well, I was able to try those things and the problem persists:

   1. with the plugin disabled;
   2. with permalinks changed;
   3. with permalinks regenerated.

   Make sure your web host has mod_rewrite enabled, that's the first place to start.
