   I created a index.html page in the wordpress directory. Here is the link:
   http://theitforum.com/sex/

   When you click on the pink button "Hyr" the link goes to:
   http://theitforum.com/sex/index.php

   But still index.html opens

   How to resolve this issue?

   You can't have an index.html file in the same directory/folder as you have your index.php.
