My blog is set up so that categories are "hubs" for content -- and yeah, I know that's more or less the definition of "category" :) But on this particular blog (toonbarn.com) there are likely fans and followers of specific categories that ignore the rest of the content.
Currently, each category page has the "noindex, follow" meta code within them which, to my knowledge (and please correct me if I'm wrong or dumb) tells Google not to crawl and promote those pages. The reasoning in most blogs is that they feature content that can be found elsewhere.
But because my categories are so diverse, I essentially want each of these "hubs" to be like their own homepage -- thus I'm thinking I should remove that bit of meta info.
My questions are:
1) are my tag/Google assumptions correct?
2) would my move be "bad SEO", or cause listing troubles?
