   hi all,

   please can somebody tell me how i can remove the excerpts function in heatmap theme?

   i'm useless with php..

   i have deleted the section of functions.php to do with excerpts and all of the code for the inbuilt 'recent posts' plus plugin. but it's still imposing excerpts on my posts with the read more right at the top so the homepage is nothing but a bunch of links.

   there is no mention of 'excerpt' or 'read more' or anything like that in index.php.

   thanks for replying jdingman but i've sorted this now. each post had the excerpt field filled in.
