hellodefineI updated to WordPress Version 3.2.1 and it has disabled the functionality of my featured posts slider. I am running the
Smallfolio theme.

The only thing showing up in Google Chrome’s developer tools console is this:
Uncaught TypeError: Property ’$’ of object [object DOMWindow] is not a function
Now, I don’t even honestly know what that’s talking about, but it seems like it appeared at the same time the featured posts disappeared.
Any help is appreciated, since the site looks awful with the slider images being gone.
*There are two slider options for the Smallfolio theme, the first is the Nivo slider which makes the images disappear from the slider completely, and the second is the Coin Slider which makes all the images stack top to bottom, layered above the rest of the pages' content.
