   Hello everyone

   I just installed wordpress MU for the first time and so far so good.

   I need to authenticate our users with our Shibboleth server, but I'm having problems.

   Has anyone managed to use nginx with fascgi and wordpress and use an external Shibboleth or CAS server to authenticate?

   I've started scratching around and it seems that Nginx does not provide an authorizer mode that is necessary to get Sibboleth to work, and that PHPcas only runs on Apache.

   If anyone has any ideas or advice, or a straight out 'no, you definately can't do it with nginx/fastcgi use apache' I"d be most grateful.

   Well I've hit a brick wall, a number of people are telling me that nginx at the moment can't do it. :-(

   They need to develop the FastCGI Authorizer support as it hasn't been done yet.

   If anyone else runs into this problem, my workaround was to use the phpCAS and WordpressCas plugin, I had that option available:-)
