   You don't want a design like that :) Not to mention it was coded in tables and has that early 90's feel. http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/01/08/100-excellent-free-high-quality-wordpress-themes/ That is a great post that has tons of great looking free themes.

   I too, thought that page was ugly, hard to read and so forth. Not up-to-date with contemporary society. I am not looking for a magazine-looking template although not for a magazine.

    Hmm, they seem a bit too far off what I want in order to customise it to what I want (seeing as I am no expert). http://www.solostream.com/2007/11/29/wordpress-magazine-theme-wp-magazine-theme-10/ is the ideal one, but anything close to it, would be good. Thanks by the way.

    You might want to Google for free WordPress magazine themes - one of results is here - nice ones too. BUT, be prepared to go through decoding encrypted theme files.
