A Question from a WordPress newbie

    Hi guys and gals,

    I’m new here and I am also new to WordPress, although I have a

    WordPress site which is focused on [http://www.buyherbsandminerals.com]
    buying herbs and minerals[/url].
    What I would like to ask all of your WordPress experts out there is, what are the relative merits of WordPress in comparison with

    Xoops and what would you say the major advantages of using

    WordPress would be?

    Any and all feedback would be welcomed and thanks for helping a

    newbie out.

    I have two sites in Xoops. Development work on Xoops has been minimal for a number of years. I like Xoops but it stays static.

    WordPress is dynamic and alive – there are 3 – 4 new releases a year. There are thousands of plugins and themes. There is a very active forum. And, its easier for end users to learn than Xoops.
