I am trying to upload wordpress via ftp and cannot gain access using with known password. I have tried both my server password and also DB password however neither work. can anyone help?

Posted 1 month ago #Some more info on above. I am using Parallels Pro Control panel (ensim), mysql 5.0.77, mac osx and latest version of wordpress

Your wordpress has a WP login and password. There's a lost password function built in. If that doesn't work, read this:

Posted 1 month ago #Thanks, but I haven't even been able to try and login to wordpress admin as I can't complete the ftp to upload. my problem is successfully complelting the ftp step of installation
