   I'm trying to create a layout like that of my 'latest products' section. However, this popular post plugin isn't very user friendly in that area. It will only display posts in lists, and I want it to show a thumbnail (through custom fields) and an excerpt.

   I am interested in the same thing! I am trying to use the thumbs created automatically by WP through custom fields and avoid any extra processing. I have gone the route of Recent Posts with custom image fields and now am having trouble sorting by pageviews rather than by date. Is there a simple way to incorporate a {custom:Thumb} tag with WPP? Thanks!

   Hi guys,

   You can create a custom layout. The option is there :P Just tick the "Use custom HTML Markup" option and you're good to go!
