What I'm trying to do is getting my "Reviews" page cleaned up. So what I want to do is get the Reviews page to be tag controlled. So whenever I make a new post, tagged "Review" or "Reviews", it goes there automatically , just like any normal post would.

Is it also possible to have a page category controlled? Because that would probably be easier.

Might look at the Page of Posts example in the Pages article.

    Also might consider this idea:

Create a page template. Review the Pages article to get a better feel for page templates.

I have created the page template. And I selected to PostOfPages Template for my Reviews page, but it only shows all the posts I've ever made. What I want to do is restrict it to posts categorized "Reviews", or tags categorized "Reviews".

Maybe you can't help me, but I know someone can help me with what EXACTLY I want to do.

All posts tagged "Reviews" or categorized "Reviews" will appear JUST like any REGULAR post appears on the front page of my blog, only that only "Reviews" will appear. And I mean with images and the styling that's on my front page.

Yep, that's what the native WordPress archiving is meant to achieve. If you want to customize those tag archives, or those category archives, the Tag Templates and Category Templates describe that.

Review Template Hiearchary and if you don't have a tag.php or category.php in your theme, copy your themes index.php or archive.php to tag.php or category.php and edit those files.

In essence, you don't need a page template or a plugin if you use the native archiving ability as defined by the Template Hierarchy.

And should mention this technique if you want Reviews as a entry in your header nav bar...How to easily display links to both Pages and Categories in the blog navigation header?

Thanks. It's working well and I'm adjusting things to the style of my blog.

I only have one problem now, when I visit the category "Reviews", it give me this URL:

    http://laptopmemo.com/http:/laptopmemo.com/category/reviews/

And even though it does what I want it to do, why isn't it like this?

    http://laptopmemo.com/category/reviews/

    Thanks,
    Again

But I don't really have it the way I wanted. How can I get it to look like this:

    laptopmemo.com/category/reviews
