   I installed Register Plus on a 2.8.4 install and it works with the most basic features. This forum will help though for some of the other problems, hopefully.

   Shame that development of this plugin has stopped.

   It worked perfectly with my 2.7 version but since upgrading to 2.8.5 I'm having problems with simple captcha - it gives "wrong image identification" no matter how correctly you are typing it. I had to uncheck "use simple captcha" which is a shame because now I get tons of "non-human" registrations. Luckily all registrations require verification by administrator so it just means more work deleting spam registrations.
