  • I will try to reproduce takuya and report back, as far as I know you are the first with problem though.

    Okay…I installed bp-groupblog on a fresh install of bp 1.1 and can confirm that when members are set to contributors the do become indeed contributors.

    I’m sorry to tell you that the problem must be somewhere on your end. Upgrading bp to 1.1.1 is not the issue. Do you have other wp-plugins installed that deal with roles or role caps? If so, please disable and try again.

    I’m using role manager. Perhaps this is the cause? I’ll just wait what happens to this plugin in future versions. Best wishes for the development.

    I’m am positive role manager is interfering. Without looking at the plugin, it is hard to say what exactly is going wrong. At this point you could try disabling role manager for a second and test if it works without it. If it does, you know they are not compatible together.

    Unfortunately compatibility testing is beyond the scoop of time I have available at the moment, but if you find a coded solution, I’m more than willing to include it.
