• I go out to Google Image and find the image I want. Google says its, let’s say 1270×1000. I save it to my hard drive. I upload it to my post and it’s this little tiny image that’s not big enough for my liking. Why did it shrink from the size I viewed it on IE from Google?

While it was uploading, it said ‘crunching’, but I don’t want it crunched. Also, in the sizing options after it’s uploaded, I can’t enlarge, I can only shrink.

    Any help out there?

    Thank you!

  • Are you clicking through to the website with the full size image on, or are you just saving the thumbnail that Google offers as a preview to your hard drive and uploading that? Sure sounds like that’s the problem. 🙂

alism is right, also it could be if your uploading using WP media library its selected to thumbnail. Also it could be the theme that you are using and the css tells img to be size very small.
