I am running 2.8.1 and don't want to do a manual upgrade because I have broken a previous installation before like that.
Normally the upgrade to 2.x.x link appears automatically at the top when I log into the dashboard. For some reason its not there. I am running Buddypress 1.0.x and before I can upgrade that to 1.1 I need to upgrate MU to 2.8.4a apparently.
Is there any reason that the upgrade automatically link isn't displaying?
Also I have tried running Site Admin/Upgrade but that seems to update the blogs and not MU core which is still showing 2.8.1
Any suggestions?
